Making Sense of the Census
by MGA 716 days ago

The U.S. Census Bureau is just starting to release the results of last year’s census. While one of the main purposes of collecting such data every 10 years is to redraw district lines for the U.S. House of Representatives, it’s also a treasure trove of information for public relations professionals. Figuring out how to find the information you need, however, can be a challenge.

Next week’s PRSA Colorado lunch focuses on the topic and includes MGA’s vice president of research, Doug Magee. Doug has used Census data for years, helping clients better understand their target audiences and communities. He’ll share some of the interesting bits of information you can find in the Census results, as well as how to leverage them to develop smart PR campaigns.

Also on the panel is Toti Cadavid of Xcelente Marketing, who will share best practices for communicating with Denver's growing Latino community.
